Looks like I am coming up about 700 miles short of gold this year. Any thoughts out of PHX? Easiest and cheapest will be a 3 hour turn to LAS. But is there maybe someplace unusual in the west where I could do something interesting close to the airport for not a lot of money? Some hidden gem or one of a kind restaurant? So long as I have to travel I might as well see something I otherwise wouldn't. Don't want to do an overnight. I get 500 minimum per segment so can literally go anywhere.
