As a SW pro (no s n i g g e r i ng please) may I kindly offer BA my free testing service for the general, y'know, user experience audit.

OK here goes. Here is my test requirement. I want to check Business Class Availability, MAN-DXB for "Any Month" (I'm already trying go easy on you, honest).

Click 1 - Select Business from the drop down
Click 2 - Write the word "Dubai" in that window right at the bottom called "Quick City Search" (which as far as I can see has Completely No Function, but I am getting ahead of myself)
Click 3 - Accept the computer's prompt of "Dubai" in response to me writing Dubai. Well, I thought I wouldn't need the DB lookup prompt. But I'd better click on that just to be safe. (I understand the prompt "Dubai" if I've typed in DXB, albeit that's irritating enough btw. Note Zonal Map won't accept DXB anyway. Request to BA, can you let us please just search on Airport Codes straight through without suggesting Managua etc.)
Click 4 - Click "Update". Well, I can't see a "Search" button anywhere, so I guess that will do.

*** Note after Clicking "Update", nothing has happened. I am still staring at a map of Planet Earth with lots of numbers dotted around on it. However, No. 7 is hovering over the Gulf region - promising. Let's try that.

Click 5 - no wait - Rollover this no. 7, I see a sub-list containing "Dubai".
Click 6 -I clicked on Dubai

*** Result - it STILL doesn't give me Dubai. But it has zoomed in on the Gulf region a bit closer still. Now there is a number 2 hovering over the general DXB/AUH type area. So, rollover this no. 2 and Dubai pops up (AGAIN)

Click 7 - I clicked on Dubai. Now I get (ANOTHER) crummy java type pop-up saying, you guessed it, ""Dubai"?. Plus a big red button saying "Find Flights".

Hurrah

Click 8 - I clicked on Find Flights.

And now I get the reward calendar of yore, with some months shown and some availability/non-availability etc. etc. shown.

Question to BA's web team. In what universe did you think Eight Clicks to get to a reward availability calendar represented progress?
