Stumbled accros this thread in an attempt to figure this out.

One website has this:

I am also a member of USAA (which anyone can join for this purpose, BTW), which DOES have this coverage, but the rental car rate is (you guessed it ) $35 higher for a week long rental (though this is partially because I qualify for a ridic $75 off weekly coupon for renting in Florida).

Not even sure who I would call to check on this, as I expect even if I got an answer the answer might be different if I were to actually try to file a claim.
