I have a four-day work trip in San Diego, and I'm debating whether to stay at the Manchester or the Andaz.

After reading the master threads, I'm inclined to go with Andaz.

I'll be there with my spouse, arriving on a Monday and departing on a Thursday. The Andaz seems younger, more contemporary, and in a better location with better food/ drink options (in-house and nearby). And, the Manchester seems to have its deficiencies. Plus, while my hotel room is paid by my employer, I can get a special offer with Andaz for free breakfast, freeing up more of my per diem for lunch and dinner.

Any thoughts from recent experiences?
