Why hasn't anyone attempted to sue about this "Fuel Surcharge"?
In the US now, my e-mail offers from Air Canada have a whole bunch of T&Cs that I didn't see back when I was in Canada, and one of the things that struck me was how the Fuel Surcharge to Tokyo was 576$, but to Seoul it was 374$, and to London it was 193$. (From San Francisco).
I'm pretty sure it doesn't cost 200$ fuel/pax to cover Tokyo->Seoul, and I'm pretty sure flying to LHR takes longer than flying to NRT.
It's *obviously* not a *fuel* surcharge.
