Just completed LAX-PPT-LAX and did not get credit on one leg. E mailed customer care who responded with, "send all boarding passes, original ticket (who gets an actual ticket) and would get credit within 2 weeks.
Had great service on AF for these flights so send a compliment to AF and mentioned no flight credit. Got automated response stating 30 days for reply, ugh! Within 1 hour got email thanking me for loyalty and recognizing flight crew. Said all sky team operations were out of Atlanta and request would be forwarded. 30 minutes later got e mail from Delta/sky team apologizing for miles not posting. They posted within the hour. No fax, no hassle, miles posted within 3 hours. Great service!

That's exactly what I'm trying avoid - the miles not posting. I'll keep my boarding passes, in case I need to fax them to Delta, and I guess that's all I can do. Just one more thing - since I want to use miles to upgrade my flight to Business Class, I may phone the Medallion line and have them book it for me. Perhaps they can determine which flights are in the correct fare class and carry both AF and DL numbers.
I'll have both my Gold Medallion and my Sky Club cards with me to have access to the Air France lounge.
