The 500 miles/stay and 1,000 bonus miles/night should appear as entries in your Gold Passport account after 2-3 days. It then takes a few weeks for the miles to transfer over to BA.

For one stay I had at Hyatt on the Bund, I had long delays for the miles to post over, and I had to contact the hotel about this. They took care of it for me with their IT people, but at the same time, informed me that it could take up to 8 weeks to post to BA.
