Darling - I suggest JFK. I do it all the time. AA fly there and some of the 757s have an International configuration in First - they actually refer to it as Business. Miami is unspeakable - you be even better via Dallas than that hell on earth. Actually the fares are almost identical from MIA or JFK to SJU.
