I think that QF *used* to have some of the best offering; they were one of the early carriers to have horizontal flat beds in 1st class; since then they have , imo, declined; they had an opportunity with the revamped 1st class on the 388 to leap ahead to the front but they chose to, imo, stay lagging behind
The QF programme used to be a very good one with some great value rewards ( e.g. 30k to upgrade LHR-SYD business to 1st class / 50k discount economy to business and was confirmed subject to U class availability); now the programme charges nearly double at 92k for an upgrade and 128k for an award
Fortunately, there are other options for international travel and will tend to choose them; like nonce, once the daytime SIN-SYD disappears then I definitely will not be using them for Asia trips

I agree. They are coming from way behind but pleasing they're starting to move in the right direction - with the re-fit of the 747 & the coming introduction of A380 to HK next year.
F - I've not been on QF F.....done a few on BA with another trip to Europe in 3 weeks. Very good cabin crew, hard product very dated but still comfy.....with any luck I might jag NF over x-mas.
J - I avoid QF J unless it's on an A380 or the upcoming rolling out of the re-fitted 747. IMO, CX & BA are better options when not flying on these birds.
PE - is very good (pricey) but the hard & soft product I found very pleasing.
WhY - sitting in Y on a A380 is pretty good - no complaints SQ, regional is good as is CX.
From the various pictures I've seen QF F appears to lose to SQ F - but thats just a view based on a photo.
