Star alliance airlines use the contract third party lounge for their business class passengers but from personal experience *G status with LH, OS, LX and SK will also be admitted (because they have a contract with the lounge operator).
I had flown LH on Y as UA *G, they did give me a voucher to servair. But I do have a C ticket from FRA-ORD on UA later that day, don't know if that makes the difference.
Lounge is ok compare to US standard but not so good compare with typical LH Senator lounges.
