The hotel is pretty much in the middle of no-where. Train from Liverpool Street and then cab from Kelvedon is probably about 75-90 minutes total. Be warned that Kelvedon is not a big place either, and I'm not sure whether taxis would be easy to find. Witham would be easier for cabs, but a longer ride.

Driving up from London you could either take the A12 to junction 18, A414 towards Maldon and then local roads or go up the A12 further to Kelvedon and then take the local roads thru Tiptree. Timewise there is not much in it - and both ways the local roads are not built for speed.
