Add to that they staff gave a LOT in 2002/3 just to keep AA flying.
So basically you have a bunch of people whose career path is stagnant to say the least, whose benefits have already been slashed, and whose real incomes have fallen through the floor.
This is NOT the career they signed up for. Whether it's the company or circumstances that caused that is a matter of debate, but there's nonetheless already been an radical, involuntary, devaluation of their "careers".
Pretty sure know matter when they signed up they knew they'd be working holidays, nights, weekends when management was at home. If/when things changed, they're free to seek employment elsewhere. Let 'em all quit, they can be replaced. (as can management.)
