Foreign Origination Surcharge and Fuel Surcharges on Awards
Hi All,

I'm considering which programs to concentrate my flights on next year.

I have a GF that lives in Germany, and the DL foreign origination surcharge of $400+ is not making me happy. AA (where I am EXP) does not charge this, but connecting through DFW is not optimal in the least to SAV. AA partners BA and IB charge fuel surcharges that about equal the DL foreign origination charge (much like AF).

Do UA and US have a foreign origination or fuel surcharge in a similar fashion to DL?
