I felt like I was in a third world country, sorta like India, where you throw elbows, push and sometimes bite to get ahead in the tangled mass of humanity. Just kidding about the last part.

But seriously folks, it is getting messy and down right dangerous out there. I almost got body checked by a 300 pound muscle man, who decided to steamroll his way past families with little toddlers and the elderly. Speaking of which, there was a old gentleman, who I sat next to in F, found out that he had flown over 2 million miles, and people wouldn't let him on the plane, he had to check his bags...now that is a shame for the airline and the Gate agents, not that they care. This guy was a lifer, dire example for those of us who look to flying in our "golden" years.
Yet management does nothing, I suppose under the false idea that if they ignore the problem, it will go away.

Here's my prediction. Just like when PMUA damaged a passenger's guitar, and he wrote a song about it which got huge airplay, at some point there's going to be an altercation at a boarding gate that someone is going to capture on video, and it will go viral. If that happens, UA management will have no one to blame but themselves.
