Marriott or its Web developers licensed “city guide” data from wCities.com, Inc. for their main Web site (it has now been removed) and now for a Marriott-branded mobile site called mobilecityguides.com which is linked to from their mobile (iPhone) app.
Marriott headquarters are near Washington, D.C., so you'd expect Marriott to verify their own recommendations for their home city.
