At amanwana maaaaany years ago, the employees were almost too well informed about what we were been doing every day and everyone we met asked about our day/excursion/massage all the time. That was too much for me.

Also we had a good laugh when several employees at o&o the palm told my husband they recognised him since he has stayed at another o&o previously where these employees had worked before. My husband knew that he had only used the hotel for sleeping after business and it just could not be true that they remembered him.

Finally i can mention the sometimes extreme usage of our names feels too much. Every day during a two weeks stay at fs ko samui for example, i think we had at least 20 good morning mrs and mrs musken, good morning little musken before making it from our villa to the breakfast table.

All examples meant to be good service but not the kind of service i enjoy. However, i would not call it creepy, just trying to systemize beinf personal (which does not work well).
