Going via FRA means going Lufthansa, and they have quite high "YQ" fuel surcharges, which are applied regardless of revenue or redemption.

If possible you should try Swiss (LX) or even SAS (SK), as the taxes side will be lower. Availability is a different matter.

A quick check on staralliance.com shows a valid routing EDI-ZRH-VCE with bmi regional and contact air. Regional could be a problem since they've been sold!
