I was on 1A on my outbound trip, and the "Grand Canyon" row 10C on my return, and I have to say that 10C was more comfortable. That might just be because 10B was unoccupied; otherwise you are shoulder-to-shoulder with a seatmate. The nice thing about F, even the bulkhead row, is the seat width and about a foot of divider/buffer between you and the adjacent seat. Also, the flight attendant treatment is FAR superior.
