Flight cancelled/rerouted - any charge to make changes?
Hello all, looking for some guidance.
I had round trip tickets booked for a direct flight from CLE-NAS in April 2012. Upon checking my reservation the other day, it seems CO has decided to no longer fly direct CLE-NAS and our flight was now routed through EWR. On our return however, this only leaves an hour and forty minutes between our flight from Long Island landing in Nassau and our flight leaving for EWR. I have read it is recommended to have 3 hours to preclear through customs when flying out of Nassau. Will CO charge me to change to a later flight out of Nassau? From the experience of FT's, is it best to have that 3 hours when leaving Nassau? Our flight from Long Island to Nassau lands at 9:45am (Southern Air Charters).
Thanks in advance for any help. I could not find anything about this from continental.com or google, and would like any advice before contacting CO.
