Once it happened to me that they offer for me to go CTA-BLQ-BRU with another airline instead of CTA-FCO-BRU, and arrive later. They gave me 450€ in direct money but in BLQ I discovered I was only on the waiting list - in the end I got into Business, so I was happy!
