I really do not understand why BA make pax queue up. This happens again and again and causes pax to complain no end. AA get pax to phone - they just hand out slips of paper with a phone number on it. I was shocked initially but then I saw how the system worked and it does work. People on the phone can deal with ticketing.

Once that is sorted out, pax can go to the counter for new BPs or vouchers. That bit should be relatively straight forwards once the new flight details are confirmed. Come on BA, it is not that difficult is it?

I learnt to phone BAEC (a big benefit of being able to use the Gold line is very underestimated) a few cancellations ago and it works better. Even when it is chaos and the phone lines are busy, the Gold lines are still faster than the other queues.
