I'm was very aware of that - the film ruined was 100 ISO.
After years of traveling and shooting without any problems through tiny airports in out of the way countries, I had become a bit comfortable with leaving 100 ISO film in my carry-on without lead. It just prop Ed to me that any machine can be turned up to screw things up.
