I have no other choice between Kunming and Zhangjiajie. There is no letter in front of the train number and it will stop 11 times in 22hours. The train start in Kunming, so shouldnt have a delay. But the train Dali Kunming could have a delay, this would shrink the ~1,5 hours I have to catch the next train.

I dont want to spend much time in Shenzhen, this town will only be a transport hub. Will cross the border from Hongkong during the day and stay one night in an airport hotel. Next morning will depart to Chengdu to meet someone, this date is fixed so I already booked the flight Shenzhen -> Chengdu -> Lijiang.

Will not stay all days in Lijiang, I want to walk the tiger leaping gorge with a overnight stay and maybe take a bus to shangri-la for a day or two. If I skip to stay one night in Kunming I will have one additional night in Lijiang, so the plan could be this:
