Many thanks for the comments. The same thing happened at Flight Connections on my way to the lounge - at first the BP (on my iPhone) didn't scan then a double-bleep with the green light flashing twice. The agent at Flight Connections looked confused with the double bleep and was quickly skimming the data on her monitor. I thought nothing of it ... I knew it wasn't an OpUp or anything similar as there was no possibility of upgrading my seat. My 15 year-old son was with me his BP (on his iPhone) one bleep and green light.

As we arrived at the Flounge exactly the same thing, the BP didn't initially read and then the same double-bleep and green light. The very nice lounge dragon, just like the agent at Flight Connections, appeared confused by the double beep and looked through the data on her screen with a rather puzzled look on her face followed by "that's fine, welcome back Mr Tobias, enjoy your visit".

It just appeared rather strange, I was curious but from what our learned BA agents have said (many thanks BTW) it was probably down to the BP initially not being read by the scanner.
