What about lobsters from New England? Perhaps beef from the Midwest? I guess they don't necessarily have to be routed via EWR.
Atlantic lobsters are not that popular here. But US beef definitely is. Presciption drugs are high-value items from the US as well.
Anyways, those iPhones and iPads bought up by the Asian gangs at US Apple Stores have to be shipped back to China somehow...
But I doubt the freight rate can be that high for US->Asia. CX and other cargo airlines have lots of flights between the two continents and I'm sure most of the flights back to Asia are pretty empty.
