I like the soft serve ice cream in Hong Kong. Apart from the standard boring one, you can get it with with different flavours swirled through (grape, green apple, etc - so very typical HK!)
In 2008 while in Vienna, I had some very tasty and good quality curly fries, which came with ketchup as well as a second, nice European-style dip (name escapes me now). Returning earlier this year, I was sad to find that they don't do those curly fries anymore!
This month in LA, I tried the new apple-caramel sundae and quite enjoyed it ^
McDonald's here at home in Australia is usually quite boring, but recently they were celebrating their anniversary here, and released some new McFlurries. The double choc fudge one was very good
I mostly avoid McDonald's while on overseas adventures in favour of real local food, but if there's a very unique item on the menu then I'll make a point of trying it for the novelty.
