Stayed last friday ( 11-11 ), & was told the new owner no longer does breakfast coupons , & also no plat perks . Per the front desk, this is due to the new franchise owner.
A Marriott franchise owner is not empowered to unilaterally eliminate platinum perks or anything else provided by the rules, as long as the property is a Marriott. You should have claimed at least $100, if not more, while at the property. If they had refused, you could have contacted Marriott. If I were you, I still would complain to Marriott about the property's failure.
