Sorry to hear for the mishaps. I am looking forward for ET to join *A but I am not so sure if I will take their flights soon after hearing many horror stories (even in C) of ET from my colleagues who frequently fly with them.

Usually ET business class is priced quite low compared to other airlines. While I can not ascertain if you have paid competitive price for the ticket, perhaps that may have caused their inflexibility?
