HND is a very nice small airport. I can leave my hotel downtown in Tokyo early in the morning and be there in 30 minutes. Nice check-in, nice lounge. Also outbound from LHR, I quite like arriving there 0500 get to hotel by 0600, sleep 4-5 hours, have a late morning appointment or lunch, back in the time zone groove, stay up dancing until 0100 in Roppongi, perfect. But then, I'm a banker....
