Passengers from IAD or BOS don't drive to JFK, they fly AA and connect. With EWR, those from PHL can take the train to EWR.
and a very predictable way from a timing perspective to get to EWR might I add than a car. Even my buddy living in North Brunswick rarely drove anywhere north. [or is it New Brunswick...]
