Arrrgh! No more "mood" music when I get into my hotel room!
Hi everyone -
Sorry for the rant but after years of travel I finally snapped yesterday.
I hate hate hate it when I am travelling and finally arrive in my hotel room - phew! victory! - and they have some kind of crap noise playing for "mood." I don't want mood, I want peace and quiet! And after travelling, I get very flustered, irritated, and frustrated at trying to shut up the mood-creating device - turning the things off is usually not obvious. I have actually pounded one such clock-radio/ipod-player/racket maker into oblivion with my fist because I couldn't figure out how to shut it up.
Fortunately yesterday I could clearly see/access the power cord, so I just unplugged it after my first two attempts to shut it up only resulted in opening the CD cover and then doing nothing.
Please join me in my crusade against this stupid practice...
