Well, I dare say a few of us are going to be on tenderhooks for the next week as Air Canada's pilots promise to impose the ulitmate irony: the first FAQ in our country, and many of us may not be able to get there because our national airline will have a strike called on it.

Although I am confirmed on CP metal for all my FF ticket, I have one segment on the return between YYZ and YEG that is AC. So like BB, who is flying AC metal all the way from YYC, it looks like Wednesday or Thursday will be the make-or-break day. For obvious reasons, I would certainly take the chance and come out for the weekend, but if I must cancel at the very last minute, flyme2, send the dinner tab to Ray Hall of the AC pilots' union. (Seriously, if this should happen, I will cover the cost of the dinner noshow. But let's keep positive in all this, so at this time next week, I'll be watching you guys go out on the river!)
