Better earnings would be a good start. Dropping the ridiculously low 40 segment rule would be another good thing - there are way too many elites for SAS to be able to take care of them. I'd much rather see stricter requirements to make gold and better treatment of those that do make it.
I don't mind the offers where I can earn extra points by shopping, but they really need to shift the focus by raising the bar on their flight offers, not by reducing the other ways of earning points.
It is not so many EBG people out there and I believe if someone takes a return flight with SAS group basically each second week might be called a Frequent flyer. Why he is worse than someone who has traveled couple of times in C across the ocean?
However, I think there should be some improvements of Silver level as well as it doesn't give you anything except Business class check-in with SAS group flights
