One of my other FFPs is BMI's Diamond Club. It has many members who have never set foot on a BMI aircraft, live and travel far beyond the modest network of BMI and have no idea who Sir Michael Bishop is/was.

They joined Diamond Club because (a) status gained there is recognised (more or less) STAR-wide and (b) they can redeem their miles on a generous zone-based programme across the STAR network without putting bums on any BMI seats.


Is there any OW programme which would serve the disgruntled of BAEC in a similar way?
