This sucks.....
Some Intercontis consider children above 15 as adults with hefty supplement when booking on ihg.com.
You also need to book a room which accomodates 3 people (in case of 2 adults and 1 child).
When booking the same Intercontis for example via expedia a child up to 17 is free of charge and you can even book a less expensive room which officially just accomodates 2 people (on ihg.com).
Best price guarantee I was told does not work in that case, I should call the hotels directly.....Is this customer care?
Even the IHG reservation agents told me to book these specific Intercontis via expedia.......What shall I say?
I think this should be escalated to IHG management.
