Whatever any agent thinks, they'll only work if they can be entered into the system. I'm betting the answer is no, but if they'll otherwise go to waste, no harm in trying.

If you do have another use for them sooner, hope they don't clear. It will take CO a solid month or more to bother getting around to redepositing them, and then you can claim "loss of use" and ask for a compensating extension. Good luck with that, too, but at least it's a conversation starter.
