I called the Diamond Desk and booked an award stay using my wife's points. She'll be with me on the stay. I explained that I wanted it booked in my name so the hotel would see this as a Diamond stay (wife is Gold). Which, of course, does nothing. When I pointed out that if she weren't staying with me, using her points is still perfectly legitimate, but that my name would have to be on the rez. That logic didn't connect.

Is this a call back until you find a better agent issue? She said (after talking to the supervisor) that this had changed in April which I can't refute since it was longer ago than that when I know this wasn't the policy.
