Last summer Amazon issued a press release saying they cut a deal with HMS Host bookstores to sell the Kindle at several airports, including Houston. They are known as the Simply Books store there, and are in terminals

Intercontinental > Terminal A > North (near Gates 8-15)
Intercontinental > Terminal C > North (near Gates C14-C23)
Intercontinental > Terminal B > Near Gates B84-91
