Catman, I pretty much echo everyone else’s sentiments on this issue, but in particular, Shadow’s. By leaving this board for however long you choose to go on hiatus, you are essentially validating the minority of people that have facilitated your reason for leaving. If I were to take personal everything that someone said to me in my day-to-day life, I would be miserable and would never see the light of day. I think that you need to take into account the source and then decide how much credence or weight you wish to put on their opinions.
To me, this appears to be a transition period for FlyerTalk. This board is going through some growing pains, but in the end, this community will be better off for it. It would be a shame if you were not here to share it with the rest of us who are dedicated to making this the pre-eminent forum for travel-related matters. After all, you are a large part of the reason for it’s initial success. You bring a great deal of credibility to the boards; which I think by the time this ‘thread’ is finished, you will begin to see.
As you can read, you are greatly missed. I (as do others) patiently await your re-emergence
