Oof. Way too long in my opinion. 4 days max here. Why not travel around Africa for a week or two?

Not anywhere near as nice, or as much to do, as the Conrad. The one advantage is that the Seychelles are more accessible than traveling around the Maldives. Although you're still very much resort captive here.

The hotel itself does not have that much to offer for a single person. 99% couples when we were there. Again, 4 - 5 days max.

In Beau Vallon (5 min. from hotel). They take you to the reef off the Hilton. not sure on price.

Buffet dinner is like $40 USD. Club sandwich was about $15. Nice restaurant is price fix. Not nearly as egregiously expensive as the Conrad, but very limited options. Food in general was pretty disappointing.

Free breakfast and spotty internet. I think you also get a small "welcome gift" but we didn't. No upgraded room or anything else. Being a Diamond is pretty worthless here.

Small. Very. Very. Very small. (Coral beaches).

Went via JNB. It's a long trip. I'm sure DXB would be fine.
The resort is a $50 cab ride (flat) from the airport. If you're there for three weeks rent a car.
7) How would others rate the general experience and area? Courteous? Good English speaking environment? [/QUOTE]
Service was fine. English is wide-spread.
I posted a pretty lengthy trip report one page back. Ping me if you have any questions.
