Go with Victorinox

I just bought myself the Victorinox Werks Traveler 4.0 22 inch suitcase. I would go with a company such as Tumi, Victorinox, Briggs Riley etc.

With Victorinox you get tracking if the bag is lost, Carry with Confidence for bags that are defective or ruined by the airline. It also has a suiter where you can hang your suit in a closet, expands etc. Its made out of ballistic nylon with a high denier count and good zippers.

While you shell out more money now in the end you will get a suitcase that suits your needs. Lets put it into context would you rather pay $100 now and have your suitcase break and then pay $100 later.

The Victorinox is on sale for around $300 and it MSRPs at $500. So would you rather keep spending $100 for luggage when you can get good luggage for $300 with a good warranty.

I also bought a Tumi Usher Messenger Bag that goes for $185.

My point here is go with large brands of luggage. What if your IKEA bag breaks what happens? What if their bags are made from a cheap material or have problems with the wheels/ telescopic handle? You need to make sure of the quality of the frame etc.

So in the end you get what you pay for. Good luck and I wish you all the best.
