If you are really spending 60k on BA a year then 5k miles is nothing to worry about. You would get 180k from the BA Amex alone! Plus at a conservative guess 10 return CW trips to the USA, at 15k miles return each, 150k.
330k a year (potentially) and you are really worried about a 5k difference between BA and IB?
