I bought some nicotine chewing gum for the first time before a flight to DXB earlier this year.
I'm normally mr grumpy crawling up the walls for a ciggy on flights but with the gum things were much more relaxed.
A word of warning if you haven't had one before, go for the weaker ones and don't eat a whole one whatever you do!
I found that just nibbling on one every hour or so worked great and really made the cravings go away.
If I actually wanted to give up smoking I think these would be the way to go.
