From past experience, when I wanted to change from an L to a J, they said I would have to pay a change fee. It kind of surprised me. Worse was that I had just bought the ticket on the website less than an hour earlier, and the ability to cancel a ticket on the day of purchase apparently doesn't apply to trips originating outside the US. They lost about $3.5k over a small change fee on that one.
