Hey all,

I'm heading on a business trip to Africa this week and wanted to ask your advice. I travel quite a bit so I know how to pack lightly but I inevitably seem to end up with a little more than I feel I should.

My total trip is three weeks. The first part of my work trip will be spent training people in a very casual setting. Then three days of more formal sessions where I have to wear something nicer than jeans and a t-shirt. And then the remainder of the trip will be mostly casual. I will be in Eastern Africa where temps hover around 80F and then in Germany for the last week where it's winter.

I'm thinking jeans, black trousers, a couple of Ts, three button down shirts, two ties, sneakers, dress shoes, 1 pair black socks, 3 pairs casual socks. I'm concerned because I'll be the session leader on the three days and would prefer not to wear the same nice dress shirt and tie combo twice (same people all three days).

Any thoughts?
