Let me add that AC is much more justified in billing UA (and other Star carriers) for lounge access of "foreign" members due to the superiority of the MLL.

This is why I think UA is so loose at allowing "foreigners" into its lounges. They don't have anything to lose, and if the AC flyer buys a beer, they've made money...
