My views on the 77W are on the record: as I fly a lot down the back, they are far superior to anything the rest of the fleet can offer - better seats, better IFE.
Swanhunter - regarding the 77Ws: there are 4 delivered, 2 on order and a further 2 (of 3) options that have been converted to orders.
Regarding refurb - I had read that the classic 772s (the Z* series) are the ones that will be put out to pasture first, so won't be upgraded and refitted at the front/back. Only those with the loop system will get new WT+/WT (the current WT+/WT won't take the monitors/wiring for the new IFE, so they have to change the seats too).
