Millenium Hilton is a nice hotel with good views of the river. As a baseline- you will be happy with either St. Regis or Four Seasons. Four Seasons is one of my preferred properties in Bangkok- it is about the service, however, not the views or the physical plant. Four Seasons has been maintained in a very good way, and had a lobby and public area restoration last year- St. Regis is a brand new hotel. If you want something different- go for a Cabana at the Four Seasons. Cheers.
Yeah the views were great at the Hilton and great service. I read the SPG thread on St. Regis BKK and looks like even though they are brand new they have been a bit inconsistent with pretty much everything so far so that's another reason for me to lean towards FS.
I won't be getting in until Dec 16th so I still have some time to decide. Might just flip a coin in the end.
