Well, the rue St Honoré (and rue du Faubourg St Honoré) cover quite a distance, so it depends exactly where you are.
If you're at the Les Halles end of the street, then you've got very easy access to the RER station at Chatelet-les-Halles, which is a direct line to CDG.
If, however, you're nearer the Place Vendome, you're quite handy for the Opéra Garnier, where the handy Roissybus terminates.
If you want to take a taxi, a good proportion of them do take credit cards (you can certainly ask for it when booking with G7, one of the larger companies), but it's far from all. You can expect to pay a surcharge, too (around €5). However, one potential sticking point could be the use of a non-chip-and-PIN card, so be sure to show the driver the card before boarding (or, if phoning, specify that you're using a "carte sans puce").
For the public transport options, the arrival at CDG depends on your terminal. By RER, there are two stations: one for T1 (with an automated shuttle link) and T3 (walking distance), and the second for T2. You can easily walk from the RER station to terminals T2D-F. You can also walk to T2A-B, but it's quite a trek - there is a shuttle bus that does the circuit too. For T2G, you must take a shuttle bus.
The Roissybus does a circuit of terminals when it arrives at CDG.
A final tip - you'll often hear the airport referred to by its location: Roissy (rwah - see). The town itself is generally referred to as Roissy-en-France or Roissy-Ville.
Do ask if you want some more details on the public transport options. Chatelet-les-Halles station, in particular, can be rather daunting if you're not used to it, but if you choose the right entrance and follow the right signs, it's really rather simple!
