I lost an expensive jacket on BA LHR-JFK in F in MARCH. I didn't realise until a day or two later and I fully accept it was due to excessive vodka consumption before and during the flight. I contacted the Excess Baggage company a month or so later as their website described my coat having been lost on the right day or thereabouts. I rang them and they said they'd keep hold of it. I kept forgetting to collect it but popped round by chance last week (this is 8 months later) and behold, they still had it, and it only cost me £5 to get it back :-: Give them a day or two to look on their website or ring them up and I am sure you will get it back. They are in the Heathrow Express building in Terminal 3.
